1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Cream softened butter, sugar, egg, milk, and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients and mix well.
Cover and refridgerate for 1-2 hours.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
On an ungreased cookie sheet, roll pinches of dough into 1 inch balls.
Butter the bottom of a drinking glass, and dip it into sugar.
Use the glass bottom to lightly flatten the dough balls.
Bake 8-10 minutes, until the bottoms of the cookies are barely golden brown.
