Gulumba (sweet and sour mango jam)
1 small green raw mango
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups water
1 tsp cardamom powder
Peel the outer green skin of the mango. Cut into thin slices in different shapes.
Take a vessel. Add sugar and water.
When it starts boiling add cut mangoes. Keep boiling till you get single thread like consistency.
Add cardamom powder and turn off the heat. Allow it to cool. Store in a clean glass container. Can be kept for more than 20 days.
