100 large clams
1 tsp. Chilli powder
¼ tsp. Tumeric powder
2 tbsps.rice flour or semolina oil
Wash the clams well, slit them open keeping the flesh on one shell discarding the emptry shells.
Mix salt, chilli and tumeric powders and sprinkle over clams.
Allow to stand for half an hour. Sprinkle flour on each clam and fry them in hot oil placing shall- meat downwards.
Keep the flame low until the clams are fried. Turn and remove from the pan.
