Prepare Sponge Cake

Ingredients :

200 gms powdered sugar
200 gms butter
200 gms maida (flour)
5 eggs
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla essence

Preparation :

Cream butter and sugar together.

Add eggs one at a time and beat well. Add vanilla essence.

Sieve the baking powder and maida (flour) together and add it to the creamed mixture.

Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake tin and bake at 180 C for about 15-20 minutes.
