Miramar in Goa is famous for its beautiful beach. ‘Miramar’ in Portuguese means viewing the sea and the beach is ideal for watching the golden sunset. One can see many cruise boats of Mandovi River that take a U turn here. To get to Miramar there are a number of buses from the Panaji bus stand. Conveniently located just 3 kms away from Panjim city and hardly 1 km away from Dona Paula, it is also known as Gaspar Dias beach and is the meeting point of the Arabian sea and the Mandovi river.
