What a meal!!! Had a great time at Gunpowder. We didn't pre-book a table still they accommodated us. We started with some cocktails I.e. Watermelon rum, painkiller, leapfrog, pina colada and pimms with fruity mixtures. All of them were made brilliantly, best being leapfrog with apt alcohol and mixture and a hint of star anise. Moved on to order madras chicken, tamarind fish, Kerala mutton, royallu pulusu (prawn in coconut curry) with appams & malabar paratha. Each dish had great flavours with an absolute Southy taste. Made to perfection, apt masalas, perfectly cooked. I couldn't decide on a fav as all of it was great!! We ended with sweet vermicelli and brownie n ice cream.
