As soon as you enter this restaurant, you understand its rather strange name. Its location, literally right on the river, makes you want to go "Aah! Goa." Everything that's alluring about Goa is right here. A serene location by the Nerul River, facing dense mangroves together with some finger-licking good food, this is one rustic retreat you don't want to miss.The restaurant and bar is set in a sprawling garden fragrant with herbs and spices, some of which are liberally used in the dishes. Turmeric, ginger, garlic, coriander and curry leaves find their way into the delicious dishes. The Blackened Fish with Aubergine Caponata and the Caranguejos Recheados, crabs stuffed with succulent crab meat and fried, are some must-try mains. Rare dishes like the Prawn Samarchi Kodi, a curry made with dry prawns and the Grilled Pork Kebabs are other attractions. The chef is from Sawantwadi and vegetarians will be pleased to find the Kothmir Kebabs, Mushroom Karwari and Sol Kadi.
