Jus Leo - One Man Band

At only six years old, Leo mustered up all the courage he could for a performance in a local Konkani ‘Tiatr’ or Goan play. Being up on stage, gave Leo a rush; the applause of the audience made his heartbeat race. At 16, he mastered the keyboards and once again his brother inspired him to learn the drums. Thus began the multi-instrumental extravaganza.

Formed in 1991, the band ‘Tomorrow’s People’ was Leo’s first professional gig. The band enjoyed two successful years together, before parting ways. In 1995, Leo moved on to another band ‘L’Ace’. The band was a regular on the Goan entertainment circuit and became a force to reckon with. Leo blossomed into a veteran performer, laying the foundations of class entertainer.

Five years passed and Leo decided it was time to spread his wings and fly solo. The transition from a band to a solo performer occurred seamlessly. Since 2005, he has been performing at the some of the biggest names in hospitality. Catch a glimpse of Leo at Souza Lobo in Calangute, Ronil beach Resort in Baga, Riviera De Goa, Sweet Chilli in Sinquerim and Prainha Cottages in Dona Paula. Here, he plays western pop, retro music, dance, ballroom music and everything in between. Leo performs at weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, engagement parties, christening parties, communion parties, brunches and evenings at resorts.
