Goa Institute of Management

The Institute promotes research among faculty for various purposes:
To enable the faculty to be in touch with the current and emerging issues seizing managers of organizations: this enables them to choose what to teach among the myriad topics in their respective subject areas, and to enrich the classroom with current problems and practice.
To enable faculty to develop a sharpness of thinking and a scientific temper and attitude by exposing their thinking to experts and reviewers worldwide. This happens during their attempts to publish their findings in good journals.
To improve the capacity of faculty to help industry and government through consulting assignments, training, and sponsored research projects.
