Almost hidden in its own beautiful Indian garden, our unique homestay offers the discerning traveler what its Goan name "Casa de Xanti" means - house of peace. This large Portuguese style cottage, completely separate from the main house has two lofty and spacious a/c rooms with attached bathrooms. Each is traditionally styled and comfortably funrnished. In addition there is a fully equipped kitchen for your exclusive use or if preferred meals can be provided for you. The private garden and wrap-around veranda is yours to enjoy during your stay at Casa de Xanti.

Beyond the house and garden the pretty Goan village of Veroda beckons. Explore the leafy lanes on foot to get a closer view and feel of life in this quiet little South Goan backwater. Here church and temple sit comfortably close to one another. We're a world away from the noise and chaos of the town, but conveniently close to the main route north and south, central rail connections and the airport. We are 10 kms from Margao Railway Station and 45 minutes from Dabolim airport. We are also 10 minutes from the Vokhart Nusi Hospital and petrol station on the national highway NH-17 which runs just off our village.

We are not at the beach. This helps to keep us exclusive! In fact it's a twenty minute tuck-tuck (rickshaw) or scooter ride across country to the nearest beach. There you'll find miles of quiet Golden sand and the warm waters of the Arabian Sea. Here also are beach shacks and hotels, all offering good facilites for your sojurn at the beach.

Daily or weekly rates can be arranged depending on whether your stay will be short and sweet or long and leisurely. Casa de Xanti is a very special guesthouse, where we do all we can to accommodate you and make you feel that our home is your home too. Whatever your programme, we're quite sure you'll be glad you came to experience something different from the rest. Your only regret may be that you can't just stay a few more days.

1. A very large two-bedroomed, self-sufficient cottage, air-conditioned, with ensuite, modern bathrooms.
2. Large wrap-around verandah, ideal for relaxation and al fresco meals.
3. A fully-equipped kitchen with a hob, microwave oven, electric kettle, toaster & fridge.
4. Independent entry/exit.
5. The cottage is situated on half an acre of a lush green beautiful lawn, with a large variety of fruit and flower trees.
6. Pets are most welcome.
7. Airport transfers can be arranged.
8. Welcome drink at the main house (which is a two-minute walk, through a cobbled pathway.)
9. Maid service daily, for cleaning up.
10. Meals/dinner on request.
11. Transportation on request.

Long term rentals will be given special rates.
