Description : Since 1950, one restaurant has been the watering spot of Margao, where families and friends could catch up with each other over a glass of beer or chat about good times over a forkful of arroz.

A virtual landmark, the ever-popular Longuinhos Bar & Restaurant is one of Goa's oldest and most well known establishments. For over half a century now, Longuinhos has held its place as one of the top restaurants in the state. Not content to rest on its laurels, it was recently given a face-lift to coincide with its fiftieth anniversary on May 3rd this year.

The restaurant is situated just opposite the Margao Municipal Council, in the heart of Margao city. The restaurant is an old favourite with city residents, with a nice laid-back atmosphere. The billiards room of the Portuguese era is today the air-conditioned section.

Here at Longuinhos, we pride ourselves for the cuisine that we offer. We serve the very best of Continental, Indian, Chinese and Tandoori cuisines. But what really keeps our guests coming back is our authentic home-cooked Goan fare with its vindalhos, balchãos, xacutis, sorpotel, bebinca, and all the other wondrous dishes that make Goan cuisine unique and one of the most popular in India.

Our menu is very extensive, from a plain slice of bread to the elaborate Navratan Khorma.
