Sri Rudreshwar Temple
The temple of Lord Shiva also known as ‘Rudreshwar’, is newly built on the site of an age old ancient site.
The most popular festival, ‘Mahashivaratri’ dedicated to Lord Shiva, is celebrated amongst much gaiety and splendour wherein the temple is open to all Hindus, irrespective of caste and creed.
Two processions, one being the palanquin which is taken out at night thereafter a drama is staged. The other one, the Rath or Chariot, taken out at dawn. From here, one can either choose to travel the far east in order to visit the Brahma temple at Carmoli or return back to Bicholim.
