Beach House For Rent at Calangute
Welcome to 'Villa Calangute' - where guests return year after year. Our holiday home is ideally located on Holiday Street in Calangute. For those of you that are new to Goa, Holiday Street is the beach road leading to Calangute Beach which is only 2 minutes walk away. Our team is always on hand to help and advise on all matters - from trips and excursions / where to buy things/ medical or anything that needs dealing with!
Stylish and spotless our rooms are large and airy. Our villa has 4 bedrooms, kitchen, living room, separate dining room, three bathrooms and a beautiful garden. Of the 4 bedrooms, bedroom 1 has an en-suite bathroom. For bedroom 2 the bathroom is adjacent to it, whilst the other bathroom is shared by two bedrooms.
Three bedrooms have air-conditioning and one without. All the bedrooms have a large balcony with comfortable seating where you can sit and soak in the sea breeze. One bedroom has a double bed.The other three bedrooms have twin beds (which can come together as a double). All bedrooms come with a ceiling fan, seating, wardrobe with full length mirror, bedside table and a lamp along with stylish wall hangings and pictures.
The three bathrooms are kept immaculately and benefit from hand basin, vanity mirror, western style WC. Shower with hot and cold water.
The kitchen offers everything that a self-catered villa would need with clean worktops and fitted cupboards. The kitchen is fully furnished with a fridge, freezer, kettle, washing machine, toaster, microwave, cooker, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. Although we predict that you won’t spend much time in the kitchen as Calangute is home to some of Goa's most renowned restaurants. Of the top-end restaurants, we are lucky enough to have 3 of the top 5 right here on our doorstep. However, I prefer eating in one of the beach shacks on Calangute beach, which offers both western and local cuisine. The dishes are great value for money and are truly delicious. Several restaurants and bars host lot of seasonal Entertainment such as fashion shows, quiz nights and karaoke.
The living room on the ground floor opens out onto a covered terrace leading into the garden and there is also seating in the front porch. The living room has a 3 seater sofa, 2 armchairs and a coffee table. Television with cable, books and magazines are also provided. The dining room has a table with 6 chairs.
House keeping is done twice a week which consisting of cleaning floors, bathrooms, dusting and changing of linen and towels. All guests will receive a welcome pack on arrival just to make the transition a bit easier.
Our villa is conveniently situated 2 minutes from the beach with good transport links all over Goa. Calangute beach is has beach shacks and water sports, good range of shacks many providing free sun beds to their customers. 6-7 minutes walk brings you to quieter shacks. A taxi or scooter ride will take you to any number of virtually deserted beaches.
Within walking distance are two of the main supermarkets of north Goa with a good range of European branded goods available. Banks, ATM's, tour operators, souvenirs shops etc. are all close by. Doctor and Dentist are close by and are very good.
The villa offers comfortable accommodation for a maximum of 8 people.
Our minimum package caters for 6 people, which includes the usage of three AC bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room and garden.

Price @ INR 7,500 /- per day.
From Oct 2009 - 15th Dec 2009 and 15th Jan 2010-31st May 2010.
Price @ INR 10,000 /- per day.
Please contace us for prices between 16th Dec 2009-14th Jan 2010.
Additional non AC bedroom will cost an extra INR 2000/-per day.

Booking notes
If you like what you have read about our villa do drop us an e-mail/telephone enquiry and we will confirm availability/prices. Our standard procedure is - we respond with confirmation of your dates being available - the price - and our 'How to pay us' info sheet - this will give details of banks accounts into which 50% of the costs will be required to confirm the booking. The balance can be paid on arrival. Please note that we have a minimum stay of 3 nights and this increases to 7 nights for the period covering Christmas and New Year. Check-in 12.30pm. Check-out 10.30am. We will do our best to accommodate your check in times when possible. Changeover days flexible.
Direction :
Dabolim (at present the only airport in Goa) is some 45 minutes from our villa by taxi - pick-up can be arranged (a driver standing with your name on a board immediately as you leave the arrivals hall). Just confirm "airport pick-up" when booking.
