Barbara's Home is set in a half an acre of its own lush private gardens, with mature palm trees giving natural shade. There is a seating area to one side of the lawns so you can sit and watch the sun drop below the trees in the distance while enjoying a cold beer. There is a swinging seat if you want to soak up the sun rays in the peaceful atmosphere of the garden.

The apartments to let are in our separate Guest house with all three having separate entrances via a patio/terrace. On entry you are in the sitting room of the apartments which leads via the hallway into 1/2 bedroom/s, kitchen with fridge, toaster, kettle, calor gas hob and dinning table plus crockery, utensils etc and a bathroom. Bed linen and towels are provided, changed twice weekly or when you require.

The apartments will be cleaned every day by our staff, who lives near the site in their own purpose built accommodation.

Palolem Beach is a 5-10 minute stroll via the secluded back track taking you past the paddy fields and local houses, or catch the local bus right outside to the main shopping strip of Palolem Beach. Get off at the last stop.. Once on the beach there are plenty of beach bars to choose from and water sport activities.

The local village of Chaudi is a 20-25 minute walk, where you will find a selection of shop all used by the locals. There is a good supermarket past the fish market where you can get all the basics and more. If you are loaded up the taxi stand is one block from the supermarket and a ride back to the apartments cost around 50-100 rupees. We can organise rickshaws for you if you like.

But hey you are on holiday so if you don’t want to cook there are many excellent restaurants just a taxi ride away offering great food and Entertainment.

Unit A sleeps 5+.

Bedroom One has en-suite bathroom incorporating low flush WC, wash basin and shower being mostly tiled with fitted wardrobe and views onto the garden at the front and road and garden at the side.

Bedroom Two with fitted wardrobes and views to the side garden, rear paddy fields and road.

The lounge has seating for 4 with fans in all rooms and single door with mosquito net opening onto large double width private terrace with views over the gardens. Storage cabinet with television and Ethernet internet cable.

Family Bathroom incorporating low flush W.C, shower and tiled walls. There is a wash hand basin and mirror at the rear of the lounge just outside the bathroom

Kitchen with gas bottle firing gas hob, fitted wall and base units with granite worktops, dining table with seating for 4, full standing fridge/freezer.

Access to the roof Garden located on the top with Hill views.

Unit B Sleeps 3+

Ground Floor one bedroom with open terrace off the lounge.

Kitchen with gas bottle firing gas hob, fitted wall and base units with granite worktops, dining table with seating, full standing fridge/freezer.

Bathroom incorporating low flush W.C, shower and tiled walls. There is a wash hand basin and mirror at the rear of the lounge.

Bedroom with fitted wardrobes and views to the side garden and rear paddy fields and road.

Unit C Sleeps 2

Front door opens onto side gardens and patio area. This property has access to the ground floor outside terrace accessed from the front of the building.

Bathroom incorporating low flush W.C, shower and tiled walls. There is a wash hand basin and mirror at the rear of the lounge.

Terms and Condition :

* Booking can be made by email.20% (IN Rupee 8000 Minimum) deposit is required at the time of booking in GBP£. Full payment must be made four weeks before arrival.
* No refund will be made once the booking is confirmed but we will always endeavour to rearrange where possible.
* You are travelling as an independent traveller.

Insurance
* All party members must be adequately insured including minor of all ages.

Passports and Visa
* You need a full 10-year passport with at least 6 months validation on return.
* A 6 month tourist visa is required which can be applied for at the Indian Embassy in Birmingham or London.

Inoculations
* Check with your doctor or health centre. Remember some vaccinations require a course so leave enough time to complete.

Health and Safety
* We take all reasonable care to offer you good hygiene practises at the accommodation, but the hygiene standards are generally much lower than in the U.K, due to Goa been a developing destination.
* Extra care should be taken by pregnant women, infants and the elderly and it may be advisable to consult your doctor before booking if you have any concerns.
* If you are taken ill, sustain an injury while aboard it is advisable to seek medical assistance as soon as possible and you will be responsible for the cost, this is why you should always take travel insurance and check that it covers Goa as a destination.

The Accommodation
* The accommodation you have booked with us is for the use by those people listed on our booking confirmation form. You are not allowed to share or let anyone else stay there .You are responsible for the cost of any damage caused to the accommodation or its contents during your stay. These charges will be invoiced to you in the U.K.
