Birds, Butterflies and other small animals visit this place during the day. During the nights, flying foxes, Jungle Cats & Owls are sighted. A variety of insects are found during the months of June to September.

Wild Life - It’s a tropical forest in which abounds in a variety of atleast 60 species of birds. Some migratory birds are also sighted in this place during the winter. The singing of the birds rants the air throughout the day. Monkeys are often seen swaying on the trees. Jungle fowls are seen amongst the bushes. Squirrels are a nice sight to watch on the trees. Mongooses and monitor lizards are also sighted. During the nights flying foxes, owls, jungle cats and foxes are spotted. A variety of butterflies & dragon flies are also found in this place.
Trekking - Trekking is conducted from across the hills. As you trek along with the guide and escort, you will enjoy the enchanting beauty of the place as you are led to the other side of the village beyond its border to a 'tribal family' living atop the hill for several decades devoid of any modern amenities of life without even electricity & tap barely depending on a spring for water and a herd of cattle and goats for their livelihood. The herd is looked after by an elderly man of about 100 years old. There were 9 tribal families in this place earlier but modernization and employment opportunities elsewhere made them move to newer places.
This is the only tribal family living on the hill isolated from the village life providing an insight into the past culture of the tribal folk.
Bird Watching - A variety of birds visit this place. Our bird enthusiastic guide will show you the most likely spots. You can also be a spectator to some of the migratory birds during the winter.
Library - The resort hold a varied collection of books on environment, plants, birds, butterflies, flora & fauna, gardening, agriculture with magazines to keep you abreast on environmental issues of newspapers to keep you informed of the latest developments.
Spice Plantation - The plantation provides you a view of the different spice plants like pepper, nutmeg, cloves, all spice, vanilla, karipatta, cinnamon, turmeric, ginger, tamarind and kokum. Besides these there are tropical nuts & fruit trees also.
Medicine Plants - Some plants of medicinal use are also grown on the plantation site.
Days Visit - This visit entails a tour down the village and a visit to the Ancestral Goa showcasing Goa's past village life at Big Foot housing a 30 meter long sculptor - One of Asia's largest sculptor on laterite stone. This sculptor has also entered the Limca Book of Records.
Spring Bath - The Resort has a spring down below at the foot of the hill. The fresh water from the spring refreshes and has a soothing effect to promote relaxation.
In keeping with the culture of the place Goan food & drinks are served through it's restaurant at the resort.
This resort uses Eco-friendly methods of operation. This is an ideal 365 days a year destination. Each season having it's different flavour-be it Summer, Winter or Monsoon of which appears to be the best with full greenery appearing best to the Eye. The hills top provides the best view of the valley down below. as it joins with another village beyond it's borders and the people speaking, the breadman blowing horn can be heard.
