These plants are tough, resilient, and thrive in very low light, so they do very well in the home or office. Although the plants can last for years in just plain water, adding a droplet of liquid fertilizer to the water periodically will provide nutrients to help the plant grow more vigorously.

The plants grow very slowly, so you probably won't need to worry about dividing them.
