1 VCD festival of dramas
  The VCD festival of dramas organised by the Hauns Theatre Training Centre at Ponda, Goa will be held from July 31 to August 2. There will be screening of Marathi plays like 'Vada Chirebandi', 'Waiting Aur Godo' and 'Suny Pahilela Manus' during the festival.

2 Chaat Festival
  A Chaat festival is being held from July 25 to August 3 at Café Azul, Cidade de Goa. The festival will include Delhi’s Nayee Sadak Chaat Walla offering the customers a variety of mouth watering chaats such as Chaat Papris, Aloo Matar Ki Chaat Tawe Wali, Paan Ki Chaat and many others.

3 Margao Cultural Programme
  A 10 day cultural programme will be held from July 20 to July 31 at Ravindra Bhavan in Margao from 7 pm onwards. The programme will include tiatrs, musical performance in Konkani, Marathi and Hindi, Konkani and Marathi dramas and a programme on old Konkani hits songs with mimicry. On 31st July Tiatr 'Rong' by Prince Jacob will be screened.

4 Kabab Festival
  Kabab festival is being held at Delhi Darbar, a Mughlai restaurant in Panjim from 4th July to 31st July from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm and 7 pm to 11 pm. The festival promises to have a heavenly aroma, teasing your senses wrapped around delicious and succulent pieces of delight that is sure to set your tongue on a long enticing journey that begins.

5 Tiger "Fresh Catch of the Day"
  Tiger "Fresh Catch of the Day", a seasonal fiesta of preparations made from fresh seafood that is available in Goa during the monsoons, is being held at Royal Salute, the multi cuisine family restaurant at the Hotel Delmon in Panjim from 16th June till 1st August.

1  Budgetary provision to boost agriculture in Goa
  Agriculture Minister of Goa Vishwajeet Rane has said that the government is committed for betterment of farmers in the state. Speaking further, he said that more budgetary provisions will be made to increase agriculture production and to enhance and promote agricultural activities in the state.

2  Goa police to restart beat system
  In an attempt to prevent terrorist and criminal elements from carrying out their nefarious activities and detect crimes in Goa, the state police is soon going to restart beat system throughout the state wherein beat constables or head constables would gather intelligence through public interface and help prevent crimes.

3  Journey on foot from Mangalore to Goa
  When they could have done the distance in less than an hour by air or some eight hours by road or rail, this group of six from Goa are planning to do it over a period of five days. That long, because they want to foot it out from Mangalore to Goa, spreading the benefits of walking along the way.

For, a normal Goan's wallet contains innumerable cards that keep pilling up by the day. To begin with, to gain 'gainful' employment you need an employment exchange registration card.
