1 Chaat Festival
  A Chaat festival is being held from July 25 to August 3 at Café Azul, Cidade de Goa. The festival will include Delhi’s Nayee Sadak Chaat Walla offering the customers a variety of mouth watering chaats such as Chaat Papris, Aloo Matar Ki Chaat Tawe Wali, Paan Ki Chaat and many others.

2 Margao Cultural Programme
  A 10 day cultural programme will be held from July 20 to July 31 at Ravindra Bhavan in Margao from 7 pm onwards. The programme will include tiatrs, musical performance in Konkani, Marathi and Hindi, Konkani and Marathi dramas and a programme on old Konkani hits songs with mimicry. On 29 July 'Daiz' a musical show of old Konkani hits with comedy and mimicry by Vandana Production, Borim led by Agnel De Borim, will be held.

3 Kabab Festival
  Kabab festival is being held at Delhi Darbar, a Mughlai restaurant in Panjim from 4th July to 31st July from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm and 7 pm to 11 pm. The festival promises to have a heavenly aroma, teasing your senses wrapped around delicious and succulent pieces of delight that is sure to set your tongue on a long enticing journey that begins.

4 Tri-continental film festival
  The 4th Tri-Continental Film Festival is being held from July 25 to 30 in Goa. The festival is brought to India by Breakthrough, New Delhi, an international human rights organisation. The Tri Continental Film Festival, which is a selection of some of the best films on Human Rights, is being hosted in Goa by Moving Images in collaboration with the Entertainment Society of Goa and International Centre, Goa.

5 Tiger "Fresh Catch of the Day"
  Tiger "Fresh Catch of the Day", a seasonal fiesta of preparations made from fresh seafood that is available in Goa during the monsoons, is being held at Royal Salute, the multi cuisine family restaurant at the Hotel Delmon in Panjim from 16th June till 1st August.

2  North Goa hotel, local accommodation under scanner
  Hotel and local accommodation to guests and visitors to Goa comes under the scanner in North Goa, in a bid to crack down on activities of terrorists and anti-social elements. The North District Collector has ordered all owners and managements of hotels, lodging and boarding, private guest houses, paying guest accommodation of all religious bodies not to allow any visitor or guest to check in without furnishing photo identity proof.

4  "SIMI is shifting base to Goa"
