A Chaat festival is being held from July 25 to August 3 at Café Azul, Cidade de Goa. The festival will include Delhi’s Nayee Sadak Chaat Walla offering the customers a variety of mouth watering chaats such as Chaat Papris, Aloo Matar Ki Chaat Tawe Wali, Paan Ki Chaat and many others. |

World Goa Day will be celebrated on 27th July at Holy Cross Chapel-517 Victoria Road, Ryde from 10.30 am onwards. The event will begin with a special community WGD mass at 10.30 am. There will also be lots of stalls with Goan food and other entertainment at the Holy Cross Hall. |

A 10 day cultural programme will be held from July 20 to July 31 at Ravindra Bhavan in Margao from 7 pm onwards. The programme will include tiatrs, musical performance in Konkani, Marathi and Hindi, Konkani and Marathi dramas and a programme on old Konkani hits songs with mimicry. On July 27 a Marathi drama 'Awagha Rang Ekechi Zala' by Natyasampada, Mumbai will be screened. |

The 4th Tri-Continental Film Festival is being held from July 25 to 30 in Goa. The festival is brought to India by Breakthrough, New Delhi, an international human rights organisation. The Tri Continental Film Festival, which is a selection of some of the best films on Human Rights, is being hosted in Goa by Moving Images in collaboration with the Entertainment Society of Goa and International Centre, Goa. |
