1	Anti-Drugs Exhibition
	An Anti-Drugs Exhibition organised by the Tuberculosis Association of Goa is being held from 26th June to 15th July at the TB Association of Goa Premises, M. G. Road, Panaji. The exhibition will focus on anti-drug, alcohol and tobacco and there will be posters, stickers, leaflets, CD'S, etc on display. There will also be various national and international publications collected by Dr.Damodar Bhounsule.

2	Spin the DJs
	Spin the DJs, the biggest party in Goa will be held in Mambo's on June 27 from 10 pm onwards. The DJ for 27 will be DJ Whosane.

3	United Colours of Music
	United Colours of Music will be held at Butter in Candolim on 27 June 2008 from 9 pm onwards. The DJs present will be Goapu, Aneesh and Yuri who will play a combination of everything like hip-hop. house and retro.

4	Goa International Trade Fair
	Goa International Trade Fair an exhibition cum sale of items is being held at Kala Academy in Campal, Panaji from June 22 at 11:00am to 7:00pm. The event that will be held until June 29 will showcase a number of gifts, audio-video photography, interiors and exteriors, electronics, etc.

5	Tiger "Fresh Catch of the Day"
	Tiger "Fresh Catch of the Day", a seasonal fiesta of preparations made from fresh seafood that is available in Goa during the monsoons, is being held at Royal Salute, the multi cuisine family restaurant at the Hotel Delmon in Panjim from 16th June till 1st August.

6	SAFF Goa
	'SAFF Goa' - a 4 day South Asian Film Festival will be held at the Entertainment Society of Goa and Kala Academy, Panaji from June 27 to June 30, 2008.

7	Sizzlers Festival
	'Sizzlers Festival' is being held from June 6 until June 30 at Peppers situated at Pajifond Margao. The festival will have a variety of 30 sizzlers from chicken, meat, fish and vegetarian. A complimentary beer will also be served on every sizzler ordered during the festival.

8	Punjabi Food Festival
	'Punjabi Food Festival' is being held at Delhi Darbar, a Mughlai restaurant located in the heart of Panjim city which will continue till June 29. Mouth-watering Punjabi Khana will be served in an ambience of live music every night. There will be a variety of dishes which will be a treat to all Punjabi food lovers.

9	SEZ-India 2008
	The first ever Conference and Exhibition of IT Specific Special Economic Zones (SEZs) – SEZ-INDIA 2008, will be held at Intercontinental The Grand Resort, Canacona on June 27 and 28. The exhibition organized by MMG Worldwide, will bring together Indian IT-specific SEZ developers and global managers of IT, software and BPO companies.

4	After IFFI, SAFF makes Goa permanent venue
	Chief Minister Digambar Kamat today announced that Goa will be the permanent venue for the South Asian Film Festival (SAFF), which gets underway tomorrow (June 27), here. Disclosing this at a press conference, Kamat while announcing the programme of the South Asian Film Festival in Goa, stated that with the State being a permanent venue for the International Film Festival for Goa, the State has enough infrastructure to host any big film event.

5	Goa to get more NIT seats
	The secretary, Department of Higher Education, New Delhi held a meeting with secretaries (technical education) of a few states/union territories on Thursday and decided that the states, which either do not have a National Institute of Technology as of now or are highly deficient in having technical institutions would be compensated by allocating more seats.
