1 Anti-Drugs Exhibition
  An Anti-Drugs Exhibition organised by the Tuberculosis Association of Goa will be held from 26th June to 15th July at the TB Association of Goa Premises, M. G. Road, Panaji. The exhibition will focus on anti-drug, alcohol and tobacco and there will be posters, stickers, leaflets, CD'S, etc on display. There will also be various national and international publications collected by Dr.Damodar Bhounsule.

2 Goa International Trade Fair
  Goa International Trade Fair an exhibition cum sale of items will be held from June 22 to June 29 from 11:00am to 7:00pm at Kala Academy in Campal, Panaji. The event will showcase a number of gifts, audio-video photography, interiors and exteriors, electronics, etc.

3 Tiger "Fresh Catch of the Day"
  Tiger "Fresh Catch of the Day", a seasonal fiesta of preparations made from fresh seafood that is available in Goa during the monsoons, is being held at Royal Salute, the multi cuisine family restaurant at the Hotel Delmon in Panjim from 16th June till 1st August.

4 Sizzlers Festival
  'Sizzlers Festival' is being held from June 6 until June 30 at Peppers situated at Pajifond Margao. The festival will have a variety of 30 sizzlers from chicken, meat, fish and vegetarian. A complimentary beer will also be served on every sizzler ordered during the festival.

5 Punjabi Food Festival
  'Punjabi Food Festival' is being held at Delhi Darbar, a Mughlai restaurant located in the heart of Panjim city which will continue till June 29. Mouth-watering Punjabi Khana will be served in an ambience of live music every night. There will be a variety of dishes which will be a treat to all Punjabi food lovers.

1  Fish gets dearer in Goa as mechanised trawling banned
  Fish prices in Goa have risen following a ban on mechanised fishing activities till July 31. The fishing ban imposed by the Goa government has nailed all the activities on seven jetties spread across the state’s inland waterways triggering price rise.

2  Goa wants Centre to subsidise Rs 88 crore dip
  The Commissionerate of Commercial Taxes, which faces projected deficit of Rs 88 crore in terms of revenue to be generated from the Value Added Tax during the financial year 2008-09 due to the abolition of state sales tax on petroleum products at varied degrees, has expressed serious doubts as to whether it would be able to achieve the target of Rs 1,106 crore, this financial year.

3  Goa govt backtracks on SEZs
  The Goa government has decided to withdraw the stop work order issued to the notified SEZ developers in January 2008. This was revealed to the Goa bench of the Bombay high court on Wednesday by the state government counsel during a hearing on a petition filed by K Raheja Corp Pvt Ltd, an SEZ developer.
