1	Aparant Maand 2009
	Aparant Maand 2009, Goa's biggest handicrafts, art & cultural exposition is being held from 24th to 28th Jan, 2009 at Parking Ground, opp Suda Municipal Market Complex, Near Garden, Curchorem - Goa.

2	Handicraft Fair
	An exclusive exhibition cum sale & live demo of handicraft & products made by NGO's artisans is being held from 17th to 26th Jan at Sunshine Building, B - Bazar, Opp. Hindu Pharmacy, Loyola - Fatorda Road, Madgaon Goa from 11.00 to 9.00.

3	Rajasthan Handicrafts Exhibition
	'Rajasthali', an exhibition cum sale of handicrafts and textiles of Rajasthan is being held from 21st Jan to 4th Feb at Clube Nacional, 1st Floor, M.G.Road, Panjim from 10 am to 9 pm. Wooden, Marble Items, Jaipuri Quilts, Blue Pottery, Brassware, Textiles and lots more will be available at the exhibition.

4	Mahotsav at Margao
	'Shrikrishna Raas-Leela', a Mahotsav organised by the Mathagram Sanskrutik Manch is being held from January 21 to January 28 at the Ravindra Bhavan in Margao from 7 pm.

5	Monte Music Festival
	Monte Music Festival a festival with performances by renowned national and international musicians is being held from Jan 23rd to Jan 26th at the Chapel of Our Lady of Mount in Old Goa. For more details contact 0832 2230728.

6	Feast of Our Lady of Livra Febres
	The feast of Our Lady of Livra Febres will be celebrated on January 25 at Consua. The masses will be celebrated at 6 am, 7.15 am, 8.30 am and 10 am.

7	Socorro feast
	The feast of St Sebastian will be celebrated at the Socorro church on January 25 with the mass being celebrated at 10 am.

8	Lokotsav 2009 at Canacona
	Lokotsav 2009 organised by Adarsh Yuvak Sangh of Gaondongrem-Cotigao, Canacona in collaboration with the Department of Art and Culture will be held on January 24 and 25 near Canacona mini-sports complex, Canacona. Traditional dances, solo singing, traditional food exhibitions of RDA and Canacona Agriculture Department, besides various competitions like street plays, trio singing, quiz, poetry, folk dances, fancy dress and patriotic songs, will be held.

9	Our Lady of Rosary feast at Santa Cruz
	The feast of Our Lady of Rosary will be celebrated on Jan 25th at Holy Cross Church in Santa Cruz. The masses will be celebrated at 6:00am, 7:30am and 9:00am. The con celebrated High Mass will be at 11:30am. In the evening a tiatr 'Tourist' by Anthony Silvestre will be held in the Church compound at 7:00pm. For more details contact 0832 2449657.

10	Chitrangi at Ponda
	Chitrangi, a literary festival for women in collaboration with Konkani Bhasha Mandal and Art and Culture Department will be held on January 24 and 25 in the vicinity of renowned Konkani writer Hema Naik’s residence at Volvoi, Ponda. 11	51st National Exhibition of Art
	The 51st National Exhibition of Art organised by Lalit Kala Academi, New Delhi, Directorate of Art and Culture, Goa and Kala Academy, Goa is being held from Jan 12th to Jan 25th at Kala Academy in Panjim from 11:00am to 8:00pm. For more details contact 0832 2420456.

12	Interiors & Exteriors 2009
	Interiors & Exteriors 2009, Goa's biggest exhibition on art, furniture, interior design, building and construction products is being held from January 23 to January 26 at Kala Academy in Campal, Panjim. 13	Sports Festival
	A big sports festival is being organised at the International Centre, Goa, Dona Paula which is located at Goa University Road on January 24, 25 and 26. The event will include children's chess festival, an exhibition of sport related equipment, indigenous games like Langadi, Kho-kho, Kabbadi, few card games, chess game for senior citizens and much more.
