  An exclusive exhibition cum sale & live demo of handicraft & products made by NGO's artisans is being held from 17th to 26th Jan at Sunshine Building, B - Bazar, Opp. Hindu Pharmacy, Loyola - Fatorda Road, Madgaon Goa from 11.00 to 9.00.

2 Rajasthan Handicrafts Exhibition
  'Rajasthali', an exhibition cum sale of handicrafts and textiles of Rajasthan is being held from 21st Jan to 4th Feb at Clube Nacional, 1st Floor, M.G.Road, Panjim from 10 am to 9 pm. Wooden, Marble Items, Jaipuri Quilts, Blue Pottery, Brassware, Textiles and lots more will be available at the exhibition.

3 Mahotsav at Margao
  'Shrikrishna Raas-Leela', a Mahotsav organised by the Mathagram Sanskrutik Manch is being held from January 21 to January 28 at the Ravindra Bhavan in Margao from 7 pm.

4 Chintamanis jewellery expo
  Chintamanis jewellery exhibition is being held from Jan 20 to Jan 22 at Hotel Mandovi in Panjim. The highlight of the exhibition is the 'Pressure Setting' diamond jewellery. Diamonds, Gold and precious stones will also be on display and sale.

5 Music for Peace and Harmony Concert

1  Ban on permits for water sports in Goa may be lifted

2  Goa residents to get identity cards by 2010
  People living in coastal areas are likely to get permanent identity cards by 2010 with the government deciding to start a head count in nine maritime states and four Union Territories by next month and not wait for the 2011 Census.
