| 1 | Art of Living Course at Mapusa |
| Art of Living Course is being held from July 15 to July 25 from 6:30pm to 9:15pm at the Saraswat High School, Khorlim, Mapusa. The course will include simple yoga and breathing exercises which help to flush out toxins from the body and to eliminate stress and tension. It will also help to improve concentration, immunity and give relief from many psychosomatic disorders. | |
| 2 | Calangute Feast |
| The feast of St. Alex, the patron saint of Calangute will be celebrated on July 20 by the Calangute parish. Masses will be held at 6.15 am, 7.30 am, 9.00 am (high mass) and an English mass at 11 am. | |

| A 10 day cultural programme will be held from July 20 to July 31 at Ravindra Bhavan in Margao from 7 pm onwards. The programme will include tiatrs, musical performance in Konkani, Marathi and Hindi, Konkani and Marathi dramas and a programme on old Konkani hits songs with mimicry. On July 20 there will be a Bhajan and gazal programme by Anup Jalota. | |

| The Gulab Awards will be held at Gomant Vidya Niketan, Margao on July 20. The Gulab awards are presented on the birth anniversary of Fr Freddy on July 20 every year. One of the main attraction this year will be the presentation of the "Goan Review Man of the Year Award". | |

| A one day trek to Tambdi Surla will be organised by WildGoa on July 20. The participants will see some of the local wild life and as the forest area is rich in bird life birdwatchers could make the best use of the trip. | |
