1 Vocational Products Expo
  An exhibition of Vocational products of different varieties made by mentally challenged children organised by Disha Charitable Trust School and Vocational Center for mentally challenged children is being held from October 17 to 19 from 10 am to 7 pm at the Art Gallery, Kala Academy in Panjim.

2 Property fair 2008
  Property fair 2008 organised by the State Bank of India will be held on 18th and 19th Oct at Ravindra Bhavan in Margao, Goa from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm. The fair will include stalls of reputed builders besides car dealers, SBI Life Insurance, SBI Mutual Fund and many other SBI Stalls with attractive offers.

3 Lepakshi Exhibition
  Lepakshi Exhibition organized by Lepakshi Handicrafts Emporium and sponsored by Development Commissioner Ministry of Textiles, Government of India is being held from October 16 to 26 at Club National, 1st Floor, Vaglo building, M G Road, Panjim.

4 Feast of St Luke
  The feast of St Luke will be celebrated at the chapel of Our Lady of Victory, Old GMC in Panjim on 19th October with a mass being held at 9.30 am.

5 Goan fiesta 2008
  Goan fiesta 2008 is being organized from October 5 to 26 in Mumbai to promote Goa as the best tourist destination. Various cultural programmes as well as a food festival are being organized at various places in the city.

6 Saras Fair 2008
  Saras Fair 2008 an exhibition cum sale organised by the District Rural Development Agency, South Goa is being held from 18th to 29th Oct at SGPDA Ground in Margao from 4.00 pm onwards. 1  Desecration of Goa religious structures to be probed
  A special team headed by a superintendent of police would probe the increasing incidents of religious structures in Goa being desecrated, Chief Minister Digambar Kamat said Saturday.The state will also offer Rs.100,000 for credible information that helps nab the culprits.
