1 Vocational Products Expo
  An exhibition of Vocational products of different varieties made by mentally challenged children organised by Disha Charitable Trust School and Vocational Center for mentally challenged children will be held from October 17 to 19 from 10 am to 7 pm at the Art Gallery, Kala Academy in Panjim.
2 Lepakshi Exhibition
  Lepakshi Exhibition organized by Lepakshi Handicrafts Emporium and sponsored by Development Commissioner Ministry of Textiles, Government of India is being held from October 16 to 26 at Club National, 1st Floor, Vaglo building, M G Road, Panjim.
3 Goan fiesta 2008
  Goan fiesta 2008 is being organized from October 5 to 26 in Mumbai to promote Goa as the best tourist destination. Various cultural programmes as well as a food festival are being organized at various places in the city.
4 BioGoa 2008
  BioGoa 2008 a four-day seminar is being held from 14th to 17th October at the International Center Goa, Dona Paula. The seminar will help persons with potential to grow into Biotech entrepreneurs, imbibe and sharpen their entrepreneurial skills.
5 Punjabi Food Festival
  A Punjabi Food Festival is being held at Delhi Darbar, a Mughlai restaurant located in the heart of Panjim city at M. G. Road, from 20th Sept to 19th Oct from 11:00am to 3:30pm and 7pm to 11pm. There will be a variety of dishes which will be a treat to all Punjabi food lovers. Tel.:0832 2222544

3  Goa to join world in UN MDGs
  Goa would join rest of the world as people brace up where people will stand up for two minutes between October 17-19 when the UN Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) will be read out. In September 2000 at the Millennium Summit, 189 country heads firmly committed to work together to build a safer, more prosperous and equitable world for all by 2015.
