1	Prerna -Empowering youth Conference
	Prerna -Empowering youth Conference, the mega event of Indian Jaycees Zone X, Regional Conference will be hosted by JCI Vasco at MPT Institute Hall on June 15. The event will include effective public speaking, fashion show, dance, poster painting, quiz, drama, hair dressing, banner contest and photo display.

2	Saaz Mohotsav, a dazzling jewellery exhibition
	'Saaz Mohotsav', a dazzling exhibition of jewellery in diamonds, gems, pearls and precious stones is being held at Lagu Bandhu Jewellery showroom in Panjim from June 7 till June 21. The exhibition organized by Lagu Bandhu on the occasion of its 1st anniversary will display all the new collection specially brought in for the ocassion.

3	Salsa & Jive lessons and parties
	Salsa & Jive lessons and parties is being held at Loungefly in Baga from June 12 to June 15. The event is presented by Rock around the clock Dance Company and will include dance performances by Prithvi and Ree.

4	Feast at Deusua
	The feast of St Anthony at Deusua Chinchinim will be celebrated on June 15 with masses being held at 6am, 7.15 am, 8.30 am, 10am and 12 noon.

5	Sao Joao Fest
	Sao Joao Fest will be celebrated on 14th and 15th June 08 at Ronil Beach Resort, Baga.

6	Sizzlers Festival
	'Sizzlers Festival' is being held from June 6 until June 30 at Peppers situated at Pajifond Margao. The festival will have a variety of 30 sizzlers from chicken, meat, fish and vegetarian. A complimentary beer will also be served on every sizzler ordered during the festival.

7	Punjabi Food Festival
	'Punjabi Food Festival' is being held at Delhi Darbar, a Mughlai restaurant located in the heart of Panjim city which will continue till June 29. Mouth-watering Punjabi Khana will be served in an ambience of live music every night. There will be a variety of dishes which will be a treat to all Punjabi food lovers.

3	Goa introduces newborn screening
	The Health Minister, Mr Vishwajit Rane on Saturday launched the newborn screening programme, the only one of its kind in the whole of country, for testing newborn babies for genetic and metabolic disorders at the Goa Medical College and Hospital at Bambolim.
