1	Kabab Festival
	Kabab festival is being held at Delhi Darbar, a Mughlai restaurant in Panjim from 4th July to 31st July from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm and 7 pm to 11 pm. The festival promises to have a heavenly aroma, teasing your senses wrapped around delicious and succulent pieces of delight that is sure to set your tongue on a long enticing journey that begins.

2	Occupational Health Day
	Occupational Health Day will be celebrated on July 9 by Inspectorate of Factories & Boilers, Govt of Goa in association with Green Triangle Society an NGO dedicated towards promotion of Occupational Safety, Health and Environment and Rotary Club of Panjim. The day will be celebrated by a Seminar from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm at Conference Hall, Inspectorate of Factories & Boilers.

3	Sizzler Festival
	Sizzler Festival is being held from July 1 to July 13 from 11:00am to 3:30pm and 7:00pm to 10:45pm at Hotel Lapaz Gardens, Vasco-da-Gama. The festival will have a variety of sizzlers from chicken, fish and vegetarian.

4	Khell Tiatr Festival
	The 3rd Khell Tiatr Festival is being organized by Kala Academy at the Dinanath Mangeshkar Kala Mandir, Panjim from July 7 to July 11. The festival is dedicated to the memory of renowned Goan Khell Tiatr artiste, Late Socorro Piedade Fremioth Fernandes. On 9th July, "Ghorabeache Vantte" by Mario Menezes (Tragedy King) of Menezes Theatre, Chinchinim will be staged.

5	Anti-Drugs Exhibition
	An Anti-Drugs Exhibition organised by the Tuberculosis Association of Goa is being held from 26th June to 15th July at the TB Association of Goa Premises, M. G. Road, Panaji. The exhibition will focus on anti-drug, alcohol and tobacco and there will be posters, stickers, leaflets, CD'S, etc on display. There will also be various national and international publications collected by Dr.Damodar Bhounsule.

6	Tiger "Fresh Catch of the Day"
	Tiger "Fresh Catch of the Day", a seasonal fiesta of preparations made from fresh seafood that is available in Goa during the monsoons, is being held at Royal Salute, the multi cuisine family restaurant at the Hotel Delmon in Panjim from 16th June till 1st August.

1	Lisbon-Goa Charters to start soon
	The Portuguese Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr Luis Amado on Tuesday said that the Chartered flights between Lisbon and Goa, which could improve tourist traffic on both sides, will become a reality by the year end, albeit on a limited scale.

2	New Act in Goa to counter terrorism
	By next tourist season, the Goa police intends to have an Act that ensures that all guest houses and hotels maintain details of the guests. If someone fails to comply then their establishment maybe closed.

3	Goa gets new Governor
	In a reshuffle of heads of Raj Bhavans in three states, Mr S C Jamir was on Tuesday transferred as the Governor of Maharashtra while Manipur Governor, Mr S S Sidhu has been transferred to Goa.
