1	Career Guidance Fair
	A three day Career Guidance Fair will be organized from June 6 to 8 at Azad Bhawan, Porvorim by Navjivan Society of Freedom Fighters in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra, Government of India. An exhibition will also be put up at the venue depicting opportunities in various careers.

2	Sitar and Flute Jugalbandi
	A Sitar and Flute Jugalbandi will be held at The International Centre Goa in Dona Paula on 8th June at 6.30 pm. The event is specially organized for the visiting faculty and students of the College of William and Mary of United States who will be attending a five-week summer programme.

3	Sizzlers Festival
	'Sizzlers Festival' is being held from June 6 until June 30 at Peppers situated at Pajifond Margao. The festival will have a variety of 30 sizzlers from chicken, meat, fish and vegetarian. A complimentary beer will also be served on every sizzler ordered during the festival.

4	Saaz Mohotsav, a dazzling jewellery exhibition
	'Saaz Mohotsav', a dazzling exhibition of jewellery in diamonds, gems, pearls and precious stones will be held at Lagu Bandhu Jewellery showroom in Panjim from June 7 to June 14. The exhibition organized by Lagu Bandhu on the occasion of its 1st anniversary will display all the new collection specially brought in for the ocassion.

5	Speechcraft 2008
	'Speechcraft 2008' a training event at zone level organized by Junior Chamber International, JCI, Panjim will be held from June 6 to 8 at the lecture hall, Inspector of Factories & Boilers, Altinho. ....... more information »»

6	Pre-Goa Open Golf Day (United Kingdom)
	Pre-Goa Open Golf Day will be held at the Blue Mountain Golf Centre, Wood Lane, Binfield, Berkshire on Sunday 8th June 2008 with the first tee-off at 11.04 am sharp. ....... more information »»

7	Marathi Film Festival
	Goa's first ever 2 day Marathi Film Festival will be held on June 7 and 8 at the Maquinez palace auditorium at Panjim. The event is being organised by Vinsan Graphics Production in collaboration with MyGroup Productions, Mumbai, and the Entertainment Society of Goa and the Directorate of Art and Culture, Government of Goa. During this festival, 6 films produced and directed by stalwarts in the field of Marathi cinema will be screened.
