| Facing pressure from the Centre, the state has notified the Anti-ragging Act, pending since 2007. The Goa Act 9 of 2009 gives heads of educational institutes judicial authority to file fact-finding reports in ragging cases and makes the heads abettors in the act of ragging if they fail to take cognisance of complaints. | |
