Voluntary Health Association of Goa (Vhag) is a non-profit organisation committed to the improvement of peoples state of health in Goa – India by conducting research to identify problem areas in health, implementing field interventions, advocacy, policy formulation and recommendations to the government and monitoring the implementation of laws related to public health through active involvement and co-ordination with the public, other Ngos and government. Vhag is the member of Voluntary Health Association of India Vhai
VHAG’s Health promotion program consists of various projects like Breastfeeding promotion program, tobacco control advocacy program in schools and communities, malaria elimination program, school health programs, school health camps, conducting baseline health survey among the contract workers, working to eradicate TB in north Goa, spreading awareness on Breast Cancer, etc
