The Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited was incorporated as a Public Limited Company in the year 1979. Promoted by Dr. Prathap C. Reddy, Executive Chairman. Speciality Departments - MEDICAL

CARDIOLOGY : The Cardiology Department focuses on cardiac care through invasive and non-invasive theraupeutic and diagnostic services.

NEUROLOGY : The Neurosurgery department is equipped to handle the management of Head and Spinal Injuries, Headache, Backache,Facial Pains and Intracranial Pressure Monitoring for Head Injuries

ORTHOPAEDICS : This department has a dedicated Orthopaedic operation Theratre and with fully qualified super specialist orthopaedic surgeons who can undertake all types of procedures including knee and hip replacements, Arthroscopy, etc.

ENDOCRINOLOGY/ DIABETOLOGY : This department deals with Diabetes Mellitus and diseases of the Endocrine Glands viz. Thyroid, Parathyroid, Pituitary, Gonads (Testes, Ovaries), Adrenals. Hormonal disorders covered include Diabetes Mellitus, Disorders of Thyroid Functions, obesity, failure to grow, Hirsutism (Excessive facial and body hair in females), Menstrual disorders and metabolic bone disorders.

GENERAL MEDICINE : The General Medicine department is a base speciality department and its assistance is sought by all super specialities.

OBSTETRICS & GYNAECOLOGY : This department of Apollo Victor Hospital is based on truly international standards to provide world-class treatment and care both for the expectant mother and the child, right from the onset of pregnancy to the delivery to discharge. The department also gives advice to would-be mothers on diet, exercise with the help of a diet counsellor and a physiotherapist.

The Gynaecology rooms are specially designed to give maximum comfort and care with all moden amenities such as TV, Fridge, A/C, etc.

The Management of normal deliveries, Caesarean section & Painless normal deliveries; OPD (supported by Ultrasonography and facilities for foetal monitoring); Complete management in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Infertility cases including Intra-Uterine Insemination (IUI); Management of Menopausal syndrome; Management of teenage-related problems; Complicated cases like pregnancy induced hypertension (eclampsia), diabetes, etc.

PAEDIATRICS : The department deals with children, from the new-born period right up to adolescence. There are in-patient and out-patient services available.

PHYSIOTHERAPY AND OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY : The department undertakes; Physio-ocupational consultancy, Shortwave Diathermy, Ultrasonic Therapy, Cervical/ Thoracic & Lumbar traction, Muscle Stimulation, Paraffin Wax bath, Gait training, Excercises for - Mobilisation of Joints, strengthening ofmuscles in cases of cerebral palsy, stroke and paraplegia.
