The Reira Group has recently forayed into the petro - services sector. As an endeavor to be part of the growing movement to provide to the energy need of the nation, the Reira Group has plans to venture into the alternative energy sector. As a precursor to the ultimate goal of getting into the green fuels sector, getting started through the conventional fuels route is the way that the company has chosen. The first of its ventures has been launched by way of a petrol station in Calangute, Goa.

Reira Eco Ventures operates within the spheres of Agriculture, Aquaculture, Waste management and Alternative energy.

Employing modern techniques and a scientific approach, Reira Eco Ventures has begun organic farming by integrating traditional farming with modern methods. In Goa, over the years one has witnessed a steady shift from agriculture as a means of occupation to various other sectors due to gentrification. Consequently Goa has a large number of fertile fields which lie fallow all through the year. One of the company's agro projects involves cultivation of organic produce in these fallow fields (and which is now being mooted as the template for the Goa Regional Plan 2021).

Reira has formed a self help group of various owners and has provided the necessary inputs, both material and intellectual, required in improving the productivity of the fields.

The waste management unit provides organic manure generated from the conversion of household waste through EM and Vermiculture.

Through this venture the company aims to promote community farming and boost agricultural output in Goa.

Reira Eco Ventures also has a 28 acres aquaculture farm in Naroa, Divar, Goa, where a major part of the energy requirement will be met by alternative sources, i.e.; solar, wind and tidal power. The farm will employ innovative solutions to counter eutrophication of the river.

Reira Eco Ventures has also set up a pilot project in Saligao, Goa, for rain water-harvesting during the monsoons. Small though it may be, this pilot project will harvest 2.5 million litres of potable water in 4 months.

As an endeavor to be part of the growing movement to provide to the energy needs of the nation, Reira Eco Ventures plans to venture into the alternative energy/ green fuels sector in a bigger way.

Reira D'maand, (a pun on the Konkani word - Market), is involved in trading, and primarily manages the marketing of products of the Reira Group.

At the Reira Group, every individual has a firm belief that the more we give the more we get. Working towards that direction a certain amount of financial, physical and intellectual resources are channeled towards social projects that benefit society.
