The Society of St. Vincent De Paul is an international organization made up of lay Catholic men and women. it's recognized by the United Nations as a Non - Government organization (NGO) and is one of the oldest charitable organizations in the world.

The Society of St. Vincent De Paul is a collective of like minded people, humbly endeavoring to fulfill the command of God by helping those in need on a person to
person basis and in a spirit of justice & charity.

Today this organization works in 133 countries , dedicated to the services of the poor and needy irrespective of Caste, Creed or Religion.

This organization branches out from the top - The International Council, National Council, Regional Council, Central Council, Particular/Area Council, and the smallest unit at the Parish level called the
Conferences.

The Conference of St. Dominic Savio (Youth Wing), Calangute is just a tiny drop in the vast seat of this organization. It was established on 23rd April 1985
with just seven members. Today the group has grown to 12 members a slow steady rate.

We do not believe in Quantity, but in Quality. We believe in dedication and commitment. Or works though few are noted below.

- Help is extended in the form of books, school fees, uniforms, etc.
- Visits to Old Age Homes, Orphanages, Sick and the needy.
- Visits to adoptive families during X'mas and when helping them.
